The Academy is mandated to mop up the many talents scattered on the streets and channel their creative energies in the acquisition of vocational and technical skills in the building of capacity. Modelling, Fashion Designing, Make-up, Arts & Crafts, Catering & Mixology, Tourism, Furniture/Upholstery, Leather Works, Hair Styling, and Content Creation are among the liberal courses it aims at providing. The Culturati Tech Academy offered technical courses such Product Management and Product Design (UI/UX) last year and looks to do much more this year.
Founder of the academy Mr. Idris Aregbe, and his associates have further put in place an investment scheme for creative, dedicated, and focused graduates ready to ignite their entrepreneurial journey. This scheme has been set to finance graduates of the academy to begin their trade, with the ultimate goal to make them productive economic agents and financially independent, thus helping them contribute meaningfully to the economic development of their communities.
The ripple effects of this initiative extend to stemming unemployment, equipping youths with requisite skills in preparing them for the rising role of technology globally.
